King and Beans
A perfect side to complement any meal, this dish is rich, savoury, and packed with flavour. Serve it warm alongside your favorite meat, or enjoy it as a satisfying vegetarian option that’s anything but ordinary.

Serves: 2, Prep time 5min, cook time 10min
Ingredients:
150g King Oyster Mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp butter (or olive oil)
250g green beans, trimmed
2-3 tbsp Tamari Sauce
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, diced
Instructions:
Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the sliced king oyster mushrooms.
Cook until the mushrooms release their moisture and start to brown, about 5–7 minutes.
Add the butter, onion, garlic, and green beans to the pan. Sauté for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour in the tamari sauce and stir to coat everything evenly. Continue cooking until the liquid reduces slightly and the green beans are tender but still crisp.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
Serve warm alongside your choice of meat, or enjoy as a hearty vegetarian dish.
